Elmwood Park Syracuse, New York. The park was originally built and opened as a privately owned park in 1893. It is significant as an example of such parks from the Pleasure Ground Era. The site was purchased by the city of Syracuse in 1927. Subsequently, bridges, embankments, walls and stairs built of wood and stone were added, making the park also representative of the Reform Park Era.〔 and (''Accompanying 9 photos'' )〕 The park was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.〔 Image:ElmwoodParkStoneMill.jpg|1830's stone mill Image:FurnaceBrookDam.jpg|Furnace Brook Dam Image:ElmwoodParkBridge.jpg|One of two remaining stone bridges over Furnace Brook Image:ElmwoodParkBridge2.jpg|And the second remaining stone bridge Image:ElmwoodParkWall.jpg|One of many stone retaining walls Image:ElmwoodParkStairs1.jpg|One of thirteen stone stairways Image:ElmwoodParkStairs2.jpg|And another stairway Image:ElmwoodParkStairs3.jpg|And another Image:ElmwoodParkGateposts.jpg|Gateposts at east entrance ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Elmwood Park (Syracuse, New York)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
